When six amateur poker players trade in their Thursday night poker sessions for a trip to Las Vegas they think they're in for the holiday of a lifetime. But one of their number, Arnold Barry, has other ideas. A sociopathic man obsessed with psychological studies, he has gathered this group with the express purpose of studying them under controlled conditions. Having discovered all their deepest, darkest secrets, Arnold intends to use every trick at his disposal for the most explosive results. Deflection of attention, bluffing, folding small wins … There are so many poker techniques everyone uses on a daily basis without ever realising it. Arnold Barry intends to utilise them all. The only thing Arnold hasn't counted on is that perhaps even the master manipulator himself is not above being played.
