Instead, she took her empty promises and vows of love and married someone else. But it's been years, and she's back. Without the husband. The last time Sebastian and I lived in the same town, I vowed to return to him. I thought he would move on when I didn't, but he never got married. He never found anyone else. He was still single, but my life was too complicated to get involved with him. Or anyone. But life doesn't always listen. Sometimes things happen that force us to discover just how much we can handle. And to find who will be there when we're at our worst.
