Can green horns from the city make the transition from city dwellers to country hicks? Jackie Santos gets the surprise of her life when a long lost uncle dies and leaves his family farm to her in his will. Other than a few visits to the farm when she was a child, she has no idea how to run a farm. Neither does her number crunching accountant husband. Nevertheless, they and their two pre-teen children bravely, some say foolishly, take on the project of saving a family farm from the wrecking ball and the envelopment into a mega farm. Will they live to see another day as they empty buckets of rainwater coming through the roof of their mammoth farm house?
