To be left a fortune at 20! No one would quarrel with that. To have to go live at Bratherley Manor with an unknown aunt in consequence - not quite so attractive. And to have to leave the man one loved in order to do so - definitely a blow! All the same, Fiora did not expect these new arrangements permanently to upset her plans.
