In the rugged mountains of the Northwest, Fargo comes across a group of unlikely travelers—five mail-order brides making their way through forbidding Hell's Canyon. With warring Indians on all sides, it's no place for a group of greenhorn girls to be on their own. And when he learns they're headed for a town that doesn't even exist, Fargo knows that whoever ordered the brides has something far more sinister than marriage in mind.
