About This Book

When Jim Cooley came home from ‘Hell', the place the deluded ignorant people in the ‘real world' called Vietnam, he tried to put the physical scars and mental horrors from those raging flames behind him by going out into the pristine Sonoran Desert outside his home in Phoenix, Arizona and exploring old abandoned mines. Now, forty odd years after leaving that hell and nineteen years after partially exploring one, he felt an almost overwhelming urge to go back and find that old mine again. A little inner voice was saying to him, "Find me!" He knew there must be something of great value inside of that old mine. There was! But to get it out, he was going to have to go through the flaming hot fires of hell again. But this time, he had his wife, his daughter, and two of his grandkids with him. To save all of their lives and reap the rewards, he was going to have to kill again as he had done so proficiently forty years before, or they would all be killed!
