Heartwood

While a secret group of collectors of the illegal and borderline-extinct gather to laud each others' most flagrant trophies, a gang of rare-wood poachers targets the last cocobolo in a Honduran jungle Restoration Area. Opposing them are back-to-nature "New Druids" who believe all life is sacred. Or is it? Such lofty principles aren't doing much to protect the trees they claim to worship. And a Green Man has appeared from the jungle to declare that true reverence for nature involves worship not only of life, but death.
