Conservative Dr. Scott Hotter was a man with priorities. The first thing he wanted was to marry the "girl next door" and have the family he'd missed while growing up. The perfect wife would be fairly predictable -- someone totally unlike his free-spirited neighbor, Dallas Delaney!

Dallas's job at a local orphanage was a dream come true -- until she learned its director was the none-too-friendly doctor next door. So what if they both loved children, fat puppies and secret hidey-holes, she and Scott were exact opposites.
