Heart of a Samurai

Michael Cameron has just come home; his father is confined to a nursing home with terminal lung cancer. While sitting bedside through his father's battle with pneumonia, Mike's memories flash back to being bullied in his childhood, his days in Bermuda, his first encounter with CSIS during a murder investigation in Bermuda, living on a sailboat and cruising the Bahamas with his first wife, and his clandestine journey for training in Japan, China, and Tibet. We are even privy to the meeting of Mike and Carrie. 

    Part Two recounts the story of Mike's previous life in Feudal Japan as Tomomatsu Yakura. The son of a Daimyo, he trains with a swordmaster of the Yagyu School and an itinerant Shaolin Priest.
