Heart Games

Amanda Kirk is getting paid to have fun--she has just landed her dream job as a toy designer for KayDon Toys. Her new boss, Cade Donovan, seems to like her ideas for the fortress adventure set, but that's about all he likes. The employees call him "Old Stone Face," and Amanda is beginning to see why. He is terribly handsome, but a terrible grump, and she can't help but wonder what made him that way.

Poor Cade--ever since Amanda burst into his office that first day, he has been a wreck. He knows all too well the dangers of trusting too much or too soon, but he can't get Amanda off his mind. He's never met a woman who likes cotton candy and deely bobbers, who treats him as an equal and gets such joy out of life. The idea of someone like her goi8ng for a guy like him...well, let's just say Cade doesn't believe in fairytales anymore.
