Hawkins - Murder Most Foul

In 1888 the district of Whitechapel, in the East End of London, became the scene on a series of gruesome and brutal murders of prostitutes, by a serial killer known only as Jack the Ripper. In spite of the best efforts of the Metropolitan and City of London police, he was never apprehended, and his identity remains unknown to this day.Now, somebody is murdering young women in the same fashion, on the same streets. Another baffling case for the detectives from Stepney Green CID. But with Detective Superintendent Ray Hawkins lying in a hospital bed in an induced coma, they must find the copycat killer on their own, with a little assistance from Scotland Yard's Murder Investigation Team.Meanwhile, Hawkins' unconscious brain attempts to uncover the identity of the original killer.
