Peri Harmon is a first term Peer Councilor (from X'lea) and is already in the middle of a political mess! She vows to find out the truth, with the aid of fellow countryman, Julleon Dellan - but the truth might just get her recalled! Meanwhile, Zilan and his entourage have arrived in X'lea, meeting exotic dancers and twin cousins, Seri and Celna Dellan. The meeting will soon prove fateful for all as bounty hunters attempt to capitalize on the Death Edicts the Balan have placed on four of them. Will they be able to keep everyone alive?
