QUIET PLEASE .. .

It wasn't that Jessie Morrow didn't enjoy being a librarian. She just didn't like the image that went along with it. Especially when she seemed to fit it. Long walks, good books, peace and quiet--that was why she'd moved to Maine from crazy California.

But she had to bid good-bye to peaceful times the moment Christian Wakefield ambled into her yard. When it came to tall, dark, and handsome, Christian would make great reference material. Unfortunately, it would be many a misty morning before she'd check him out overnight. But maybe--just maybe--their story of love was long overdue.
