About This Book

The prequel to Fema Camp 37 and a foundation to read Starvation Nation, the fourth book of the Fema Camp series. Sin City is about to have a New Year's Eve fireworks display that the world will remember for a very long time. America has been torn apart by its own government and the United Nations since the dollar became worthless and a dozen eggs now cost you one hundred a fifty bucks...if you can find eggs. A group of refugee freedom fighters fleeing Kansas City to a more quiet existence at a small farm six miles from Ely, Nevada decide to stop on the way to witness at least one New Year's Eve in Vegas...mostly for their children. They stumble across a terrible plot to throw fuel on the American fires in the big cities. After Christmas things start to happen fast and they realize that they are in over their heads. They retreat to the farm immediately because the authorities in charge won't believe their warning which causes uncomfortable feelings among the men and the one woman in the group. They go back to Las Vegas to make attempt to stop the carnage resigned to the possibility that this may be a one way trip.
