Twelve elves left the North Pole to be free of all things Christmas and have been living together for decades. They have gone without their mates for years, but when the first of the twelve finds his, the others have hope of finding theirs. Maze hates reindeer and social interactions in general, preferring to fight vampires with Shadow. Maze finds a new way to occupy himself upon meeting Zander, who seems so willing to give Maze all he has to offer, including his love. Zander Travinsky is a history museum curator whose past relationships have been failures. The one person he seems close to is his stepbrother Bryl. However, Zander finds himself experiencing an instant attraction and longing for love when he meets Maze. When Zander's stepbrother finds out about Maze, will Bryl's jealous acts tear the mates apart, or will their love be strong enough to overcome the evil?
