Jessica Shaw made a terrible mistake, she has gotten mixed up with the wrong man. He lied to her and kept her locked in a life she didn't want. He was nothing that he claimed he was and then got into drugs. Jess caught him with the neighbor, in her bed, in her house, and it was the last straw. As she left his body on the floor of her bedroom, she assumed he would get up. She saw his chest moving. She left him and ran, as far as she could. On the road, for a week trying to elude any chance he might have to find her. She settled in the Florida Keys at a dolphin sanctuary, and, by accident, met Sean Penhale, a retired cop from Chicago.
