An eery silence covered the room like a winter's mist covers the moon.  The old group didn't want to speak of the hell that went on hereâ€"in The Coveâ€"and the new group didn't want to know about it.  Nevertheless, one painfully thin, nameless girl stood up from where Jennison continued to lean against the wall; if she was dead or alive, none could tell for certain.  As the nameless girl came forward, everyone took a step back to make room for this one who was about to share the secrets of The Cove.  She moved to Hadassah and Alice.  Each stood close, gripping one another tightly.  Terror had settled into their souls and would live there now.  The girls braced themselves to hear what they already knew they'd regret ever knowing.
