Guilty

Caroline was guilty of many things, but murder was not one of them. Yet, after her night of revenge turns into a nightmare, that is exactly how it seems. What really happened? All Caroline knows is that she had wanted a child so badly, that it tore her apart when she learned her husband had an affair, and the woman was now pregnant. The pregnancy hurt more than the deceit. It was what she did after learning about her husband's indiscretion that riddled Caroline with guilt. She had acted totally out of character, going to a bar, drinking and letting a strange man take her home. A man she found dead beside her when she awakened in the morning.
