Two random murders have Detective Isaac Taylor feeling frustrated. Especially since he's also in the middle of moving his growing family into a new home across town. A family he never thought he'd have until Sidney came into his life and changed everything. Sidney Taylor is five more weeks away from her due date, and she's feeling every bit of it. But she's excited about all of the happy changes going on in their lives. Life could not be better. When an old case comes back to haunt him, dragging a grudge and causing a tragedy that endangers Sidney and their unborn babies, all looks lost. And maybe it is.
