Growth of Love

Raymond wakes up at the bottom of a steep escarpment, battered, bruised and with no memory of how he got there. He cannot remember who he is or where he is. Through sheer willpower, he climbs out and finds a lift to Sydney where the Salvation Army help him to recover and survive. He is put up at a Salvation Army Hostel for men, taking the name of David and shares a room with Grant, an ex convict and recovering alcoholic. Through circumstances they form a bond comforting each other, and finally find love together. This is their story and how their love grows, how they survive being a gay couple in the late 70's in Australia, and how through the death of Raymond's younger brother they become a family.
The story line is based on truth; the story uses fiction to offer a more interesting reading, but the happenings to David did occur and at similar times to the story line. However David never did have a family so please excuse this little piece of fiction.
