Greta's Story

A short novella ~ sweet historical Christian romance. 1867
The farm was finished. Greta kicked at the dead plants and reeled at the warring emotions roiling inside her. Dread that she and Grandpapa would starve and relief that now, she had no choice but to go to Chase Logan. She'd agreed to be his mail order bride and prayed she'd made the right decision.
Chase Logan had sent Greta the money to come to Texas. He needed a good woman. His hands shook as he read the letter. She was coming. His nights wouldn't be lonely. No longer would he and his two brothers have to eat beans every meal. Yeah, he'd done the right thing. He needed a woman.
