Greektown Conspiracy

Officer Lenny Johnson, a twelve year veteran of the Detroit Police Department found himself at the end of his rope. The walls were closing in; he was desperate and took his family hostage threatening to kill anyone who tried to come close. Police Chief Mathews knew his department couldn't afford any more negative press and authorized the negotiator to resolve the problem any way possible and get the family safely out of the home. Detective Don Frederickson, the head of the Special Investigative Unit, was assigned to intercede in the case and hopefully keep it from becoming the morning headlines. His new team of detectives was on the scene taking control of the situation. What began as a hostage situation soon evolved into a mystery, one of police corruption and a connection to a four year old drug bust. The FBI became involved when the Chicano Brotherhood, a splinter group of the Mexican Cartel, started moving into Corktown. The bureau knew this would certainly cause a struggle for territory with the Greektown drug lord.
