Grasping for Dreams

Davison Parris is a high school science teacher who hates his boss almost as much as he hates his father. After a prank goes wrong and he nearly gets fired, he rededicates himself to teaching and coaching the baseball team. But when his father dies, he looks to his past and rediscovers a love of baseball that makes him attempt to revive a career that was derailed in college by injuries. As he pushes himself through the minor league ranks, he learns about himself and his relationship with his father. In the end, he achieves his ultimate dream, but is it what he thought it was going to be?
