In high school, Sydney Marie St. John had made a perfect fool of herself over Eric Law, who at eighteen was wild, uninhibited, dark, dangerous--and irresistible. Years later, Sydney is returning to her hometown looking for a little R-and-R after losing her job, and the one person she'd hoped never to come face-to-face with again is the first person she runs into...literally.

Eric Law, successful attorney, is back in Sweetheart for his brother's wedding. But nothing is going according to plan, and he finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere until a beautiful woman comes to his rescue.
