Good Men

He is swayed by an old friend to marry the daughter of his enemy for her beauty and the bountiful land that comes with her, but he doesn’t want the distraction or burden of a new wife, especially one who tested so much of his control. She believes she is marrying him to protect her people, not just the land they live upon. But when he avoids her, his clan ignores her and her people are still left unprotected, she sees that there are no good men to save them.
