Goldie & Girl

The third novel in the Dare Family Saga, Goldie & Girl takes place in the 1830's and centers on Goldie Dare and a girl who will only allow herself to be called "Girl" because of the disgrace she says she has brought to her name. Girl's family was massacred by Crow Indians and she was rescued by two mountain men traveling to the Dare home in Tejas. This is the story of the second Dare son Goldie and the girl called Girl, but it is also about Dares' continuing struggle to best all who would try to take their land … and even their lives … in the Mexican territory called Tejas.
