Patti Morrison was determined to hate Josh McIntyre. -- Not matter how nice he was to her. After all, he was a dreaded 'Flatlander', someone not born and raised in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Worse, he was a Flatlander from the city and a business man at that. And probably worst of all, he was buying her family farm. Josh had no rights to move right in and take over. He had no right; to even consider the changes to the land she loved. He had no right to be so handsome. But, Patti was immune to his sort she was certain of that. He'd bring nothing but trouble - which is exactly what bringing more of his kind would be. Trouble - with a capitol T. As for Josh, he knew as far as Patti was concerned he'd been tried and found guilty even before he arrived at the Morrison home. The only thing left was his sentence. And it was turning out to be a long tortuous one.
