About This Book

This is a philosophical story, narrated by the author about childish thinking, but logical asking his mom about the gender of God, was He a male, or She, female. This type of mysterious questions is considered as taboo in Muslim culture. Because there is no room for accepting abnormal questions attack cultural beliefs or solid as perceived by people. The other issue was honor-killing for reserving good reputation and honor, where the girl usually pays her life to satisfy tribal or familial arrogance and ignorance in most cases. The story was written in the process of Ihyaa al Turath al Arabi fil Mahjar (revival of Arab Heritage in Diaspora) project, sponsored by the Arab American Encyclopedia-USA. Both originated and supported by the author. Hasan Yahya is an Arab Palestinian American scholar, writer, and philosopher, he calls for listening and understanding between old and young generations in a rapid technological age and social change. Dr. Yahya authored and published over than 260 books for himself and other Arab writers. He resides in Michigan-USA. He has four children and ten grandchildren.
