About This Book

GIZMO, THE LITTLE CROW is a delightful story of a little crow who overcomes the ill tempered opinions about crows held by a cranky farmer. A loud shotgun blast, meant to scare away roosting crows, is fired by Farmer Reilly and accidently tumbles the little crow from his nest. The farmer pities the nestling and against his better judgment, takes him home to be raised. Mrs. Reilly becomes fond of the baby crow and names him Gizmo for his habit of collecting various gadgets in the barnyard. The crow is mischievous but gradually becomes helpful and wins over Farmer Reilly's admiration as a wonderful asset to the farm and its corn crops. Gizmo is an amusing, loveable little character who subtly conveys a life lesson everyone is certain to appreciate and enjoy.
