Ghost's Journey

When Indonesia becomes a dangerous place for the LGBTQ+ community, Ghost and her two dads are forced to leave their home and escape to freedom in Canada. Told through the eyes of Ghost, a cat, the story follows them on their adventure to a new home and a new life as refugees in Canada. Ghost's Journey is inspired by the true story of two gay refugees, Rainer Oktovianus and Eka Nasution, and their cat Ghost, who were forced to leave their home in Indonesia. Written by award-winning author, Robin Stevenson, Ghost's Journey is a perfect fit to teach young audiences about family diversity, human rights, and social justice. The gorgeous Illustrations were created digitally from Rainer's photographs of Ghost.
