Skye learns someone is brutally killed because of her. In order to stop another murder and save her son, Skye must crack through the blank wall of her memory. The idea is terrifying. Brief and horrific childhood images flash in her mind, but little else. Somehow her psych has blocked a trauma so sever she cannot delve into her past even after the help of hypnosis. But a simple and mundane act blasts through to her past. When David shows up in Boston, he feels powerless. How can he take away Skye's pain when that pain is intangible? His body, his touch, can only do so much to dull the ache of her loss.
