Julia Landsfield is missing. Her kindred spirit and next door neighbor, Deidre O'Shaughnessy, who is a top-notch D.C. investigative reporter, won't rest until she finds her. Julia's parents are killed in a car accident when their car plunges off the 14th Street Bridge. Deidre, her father Congressman John Henry O'Shaughnessy and FBI agent Mike Callahan, along with a handful of intrepid souls, are about to uncover an unbelievable web of political corruption.
