Genesis 3 - A New Beginning

In the fifth and final book of the epic science-fiction saga The Genesis Project, the peace-seeking alien alliance seems to have found the perfect world to colonise in a distant corner of the universe. Except someone or something has been there before them. And it may not have left. Centuries of war, politics and near total annihilation have forged the Council of Worlds, whose only desire is to settle peaceful planets throughout the universe. It began when humanity escaped the death of their planet which set them on a dangerous adventure of inter-species contact.
