When Clea Davidson asked Dylan George to kill her wealthy father, he was too desperate to say no. Dylan needs money to pay his college tuition and for Dylan, college is his only escape from the desperate lives he saw his parents live. That and the chance to woo Joyce Wistenmueller, the married English professor that has become his romantic obsession. When Dylan botches the hit, he finds himself having to escape both the police investigation and the angry Clea who wants him to finish the job.
