Madeleine Dubois is a dedicated professional dancer, but she's constantly broke. She dances in competitions with her ex-boyfriend, but the prize money never lasts long enough to get by. Then she gets a lucky break and is able to join the cast of the successful TV dance show Celebrity Dance Hall. When she has to dance with Gavin McLeod, the lead singer of a chart-topping boyband called Downstair Alley, the sparks fly between them, and not just on the dance floor. However, Madeleine knows that relationships with men like him can bring dangers that she wants to avoid at all costs.
