Gatlin's Bride

Audrey has watched her friends leave the textile mill to go in search of their happy-ever-after, while knowing it's not something she can have for herself.  But when circumstances change and she's given that one chance for her own happiness, she knows she needs to take it.   She's never been witness to love, only learning why men should never be trusted or counted on. Gatlin is starting a newspaper in the small town of Cottonwood Hill, and really doesn't have time to be courting a woman he has never met.  But he has watched his best friend find love with a mail order bride, and he wants that for himself. When Audrey arrives, they start to form a tentative relationship while working together at the newspaper.  But when her past shows up in town, reminding her why she can't trust anyone but herself, everything they've built could be shattered in an instant. Can Gatlin convince her it's time to let herself trust someone other than herself, and that some men would move heaven and earth for the woman they love?
