Gasparilla's Key offers a look at the life of a young woman who chooses to trust God no matter her circumstances. Grace Shell operates Shell's Inn, the only hotel in Gilead Harbor, with her older brother Maurice. When Maurice begins using all of their income to make mysterious trips, Grace has to rely on God to provide for her needs. She employs one of the occupants of the inn, Morgan Meredith, to do some carpentry and odd jobs. As she gets to know Morgan, she discovers that he is harboring a dangerous secret. His secret becomes more threatening as he becomes engaged to Grace's best friend, Ellen. Then, in one whirling night, Morgan and Grace lose everything. Will Grace's faith in Jesus survive the truth that surfaces after the disaster?
