Gabe couldn't imagine things getting much worse. He had lost everything—his marriage, his law practice, all his money—because of one night of blinding rage. The local crackpot was a wealthy eccentric and conspiracy theorist, who wanted to hire Gabe as his lawyer to look into a conspiracy of national proportions that was threatening his life. Gabe knew he was listening to the rantings of a lunatic, but it was cash he couldn't pass up.

Then Del is brutally murdered, and Gave realizes there's more to his client's claims than paranoia. Finding out what>/i> could cost Gabe the only thing he's got left—his own life.
