An Indian is forever indebted to the man who saves his life. Bill Tenney had rescued Red Hawk from a watery death; Red Hawk must then rescue Bill, who had been flogged for theft and imprisoned in a Fort Marston cell.

The Indian-hating Captain Marston held Tenney's fate in his hands until Red Hawk forced him to set Bill free. Now Marston, who secretly coveted Red Hawk's horse and his girl, could battle in the open against the white man the tribe called Father—Red Hawk, the White Cheyenne.
