Front Pigs: The Lost Company

This is the story of a group of men living the lives of frontline soldiers. They are members of the Fifth Company, which before long is thrown from one dire predicament into the next. One day, when the enemy managed to destroy the regiment’s defensive lines, they find themselves cut-off from the rest of the German army, which was forced to make a hasty retreat.

Now, the company is facing numerous problems: Keep from being discovered by the enemy, help the wounded, surviving in the dead of winter, and ultimately find its way back to the own lines. The remnants of the Fifth Company have before them an agonizing trek. No one knows how far they must go, no one knows what troubles lay ahead, and no one knows who will or will not make it. Will the enemy discover them in this huge land and hunt them down? Will they survive nature? Will they keep from going against one another?
