From Winnipeg with Love

Follow the life of Algoma "Allie" Witashnah, a beautiful and fiercely proud young Aboriginal woman from Winnipeg, Manitoba, who comes to Montreal, Quebec, to mend things after her openly gay brother Scott is disowned by their proud father, strict Aboriginal leader George Witashnah. At Concordia University, Allie meets Haitian scholar Vincent Jacques Etienne, a handsome young man who heroically saves her brother Scott from a homophobic attack in a downtown bar one night. Sparks fly between Allie and Vincent. Mutual attraction soon blooms. They're from completely different worlds, though. Can these two fiery souls make their fledgling relationship work ?
