Being in the closet is safe for an ex-military man like Josh - lonely, but safe, especially since he has five year old Seth to bring up by himself. His life is orderly, and his decisions firm, and based solely on keeping it that way. When Josh meets Brett, an out-and-proud divorcee with a daughter the same age as Seth, Josh never expects his heart to begin making all the decisions.
