From SpiritFish

SpiritFish is a group of seven women who meet in each other's homes to share their writings. We have discovered that we anchor each other as we welcome each others' lives, as well as our written words, into a matrix of support, a community of care, where we find renewal of our sense of purpose and of the importance of our writing. Comparing what we have written reveals countless common experiences threading through our lives, reminders of our shared humanity and reminders that the spiritual quest forms an underpinning of our lives. Sharing our writing with one another seems to break us out of the exterior surface of our relationships and plunges us into the deeper waters of our interconnectedness and even deeper, into an awareness of the universal interwoven creation. Perhaps it is this humor and joy that wells up when we gather that carves out space for the spirit, the spirited dynamic each time we meet, each time we write held within the community of SpiritFish.
