When tragedy strikes on the eve of Lana’s fifteenth birthday life as the pampered daughter of a New York magazine tycoon comes to a sudden end. Lana is sent to live with a grandfather she has never met on a horse ranch in the little town of Quentin. Horses are something this city slicker amateur photographer knows nothing about and she’s not exactly happy with the situation. When she meets fellow teen Cody Stewart however she finds mystery and adventure as they try to save Freedom, the wild mustang and his mares from certain death.
