TIME TRAVEL DOESN'T JUST HAPPEN IN THE MOVIES.
Ask Katy Morris. Right now, she's complaining to herself—her mother always makes her wash the dishes or feed the dog and, as far as she's concerned, it's more than a fifteen-year-old girl can handle! She's thinking about all her chores while her Philadelphia High School is in the midst of a dress rehearsal for a play about the birth of the U.S. Constitution—which is why she doesn't see the boy on the bicycle until it's too late....

When Katy wakes up, she discovers everything is different. The streets have cobblestones. The buildings look brand new. And the people are walking around in funny old-fashioned clothes....

Instead of 1987, it's 1787. The Constitution is in the making, and Katy is about to have the adventure of her life....
