Free To Die

When Amos decided he had had enough of the gangster life and wanted to sail off into the sunset, he bought himself a boat before asking his superiors if he could leave.
When the answer came back no, Amos decided that was unacceptable and he had to do something to change their minds. That’s what his father would have counseled.
What he decided to do was very, very dangerous, and could get him killed, but freedom had become very important to him, and he decided it was worth the risk.
But was it?
Especially when a bounty hunter of enormous repute targeted the same man Amos needed to make his plan work.
