Fran and Max

After Fran and Max escaped for the Syndicate, they lost track of each other. Fran changed her looks and identity and relocated to a secluded bungalow on the west coast, hidden away from the Syndicate, awaiting the birth of her baby. Meanwhile, Max changed his looks, as well, and criss-crossed the country searching for her. When he finally appeared on her doorstep, she did not recognise him. Fearing for her life, she grabbed a gun. In the ensuing struggle, the gun went off. What follows is a page-turning tale of struggle, discovery, action, suspense and love.
