Ixe was created, not born. It's been 600 years since humanity fled the planet, leaving a single AI program to clean up their mess. Now Ixe is approaching their 20th birthday, which means they will be cast from the city and into a world they don't know, with no support from their robot guardian.As the day grows closer and the mix of anxiety and excitement within them grows, an unknown ship lands outside of the city, leaving the Bots and humans confused. When curiosity gets the better of them, Ixe sneaks out of the city to investigate, placing them in the hands of a new enemy.​​​​​​​Now Ixe's only hope lies in a 600 year old soldier and his feelings for the modified human in his care. Can they escape confinement, rally the troops, and stop the plague from destroying the world again? Or will revenge take away everything Ixe has come to care about?
