Four Winds

In Charleston, South Carolina, near the close of the 18th century, two boys are born only minutes apart. They have the same father, but the mother of one is the mistress of Four Oaks Plantation, while the other is born the son of a slave woman. Though they cannot know it, for the next twenty-five years, their lives will be connected as they fight for survival, freedom and love from Charleston to Malaya, on land and at sea. In a time when honor reigned supreme in the southern United States and duels were fought over both the most damning and the most trivial of insults, the boys grow to manhood and a final confrontation between good and evil.
