      When out of work cowboy, Monte Harper, goes to work for Lonny Sheppard he is in for quite a surprise. Lonny's wife, Fran, is an old girl friend of Harper's. Needing the job and not wanting trouble with his new boss, Harper is hard pressed to avoid Fran's attempts at rekindling their old romance. Trouble starts when one of the other hired hands who has had his fling with Fran stirs up trouble for the new hire. The hiring of a young gun only adds to the handling of a dangerous situation. When Lonny learns of Fran's infidelity the trouble really starts. A good read for the Western fan.
